Julie has held a variety of positions including Joint Venture Manager, Event Planner, Event Supervisor, and was previously with Peak Potentials as an Event Supervisor where she was responsible for managing teams and logistics for large events in the personal development industry. Julie is most proud of successfully running over 300 events in the last decade. In her spare time, Julie enjoys traveling the world with her wife, eating extraordinary food, and walks in the forest.

Karli Mcnamee

Karli has held a variety of positions including being an Executive Assistant to C-Suite, Account Manager, and Tier II & III Escalations Specialist. She was previously with Newsletter Pro as the Executive Assistant to the CEO where she was responsible for calendaring, email management, A/P, escalations, partnerships, onboarding, and more.  Karli is most proud of growing her CEO’s non-profit more than 600%, and helping thousands of foster youths to have better lives. Karli has been working as an Executive Assistant for almost a decade and frequently uses the knowledge she gained while completing her Bachelor’s degree in Musical Theatre—though she doesn’t use it for anything she got it for! In her spare time, Karli enjoys reading, cooking, singing, and dancing around the house with her 5-year-old daughter. She will also happily build your Ikea furniture for you; just don’t ask her anything about music or movies unless you’re ready to spend a few hours in conversation.

Arnel Ortega

Arnel has held a variety of positions including Attorney, Mediator, and Human Resources Director, and was previously with his own law firm as the Managing Attorney where he was responsible for General Counsel to clients in business matters, including commercial and civil litigation, contracts, federal and state labor and employment laws, and risk management. Arnel is most proud of helping business owners identify and seize the opportunities available to them by holding them accountable to execute on the actions necessary to achieve success. Arnel has been with How to Manage a Small Law Firm for more than 5 years and has held numerous positions, including Senior Fractional CEO, CEO Lead, and Fractional COO, as well as a Crash Course leader, Business Plan Workshop presenter, Bootcamp teacher, and Advanced Business Plan Workshop facilitator. In his spare time, Arnel enjoys Martial Arts, Motorcycles, Traveling, and being his son’s Fencing weapons armorer and coach.

Brian Robinson

Brian has held a variety of positions including business owner, sales manager, attorney, consultant, president and was previously CEO where he was responsible for leading a nationwide legal services company that operated from 12 locations, in 7 states. Brian is most proud of his ability to integrate complex situations into strategic solutions. In his spare time, Brian enjoys learning and growing alongside his young child.

Clarissa Maldonado

Clarissa has held various positions, including Law Firm Administrator, Manager of Operations and Administrative Services, and Director of Operations. She was previously with Carluccio, Leone, Dimon, Doyle & Sacks, L.L.C. as a Law Firm Administrator, where she was responsible for a multi-office team of Attorneys and Legal support staff, securing the Operational Management, Policies and Procedures, Human Resources and Technologies to enrich the culture and support the business. Clarissa is proud of her time working in New York City at one of the largest women-owned legal recruiting firms, where she opened multiple eDiscovery centers nationwide. In her spare time, Clarissa enjoys hot yoga, gardening, and an endless pursuit of finding the best pizza. She also adores spending time with her family in NJ and traveling to the beautiful island of Puerto Rico to visit her parents.

Charles Luna

Charles Luna has held a variety of positions including business owner, and Director of Marketing and Communications, and was previously with Medtronic as a Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist and Campaign Development Advisor where he was responsible for leading the global web optimization and omnichannel campaign development of a Fortune 50 company. Charles is most proud of the dozen-plus years he spent creating and building an agency that specialized in marketing professional services firms. In his spare time, Charles enjoys camping, traveling, hiking with his dog, and sampling Colorado’s amazing varieties of craft beer. Before becoming a marketer, he also had careers as both a cancer researcher and as an architect. Life is full of unexpected twists and turns…
