Oscar Ferenczi

Oscar Ferenczi comes from the pharmaceutical world and held a variety of positions including President and Executive Board Member during his 30-year tenure in the industry. He was previously with Merck & Co., Sandoz a division of Novartis and Grunenthal where he was personally responsible for managing the Latin America operations which included Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Registration and P&L Management for both the countries and the overall region.  Oscar is most proud of having successfully worked in 8 countries, developed the business and the people he worked with and having left successors in all countries he managed. In his spare time, Oscar enjoys diving, skiing, watching his children grow and forge their own future plus spending time with Erika, his lovely wife of 25 years.

Tania Music

Tania has held a variety of positions including Owner and Co-Founder, Director of Sales & Marketing, Sr. Director of Operations, Manager or Digital Content & Manager of Employee Development. She has previously worked with many leaders in the Professional Development space managing responsibilities ranging from joint-ventures, community engagement and communications. Tania is most proud of building an international team of over 100 members and training them to coach and support thousands of individuals to fundraise, leading to the generation of over $150MM in donations over 5 years. In her spare time, Tania enjoys hiking and playing with her partner Tom and their two dogs and scuba diving (mostly in cold water).

Steve Barclay

Steve is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he deployed to Fallujah, Iraq as an infantry team leader. He has held a variety of positions in the private sector including Operations Manager and Senior Manager, Operations and was previously with AnswerHero as VP of Operations where he was responsible for overseeing call center operations, business development, training, quality assurance, customer experience, and human resources, while also designing and executing on long term strategic initiatives. Steve is most proud of successfully navigating many projects with substantial impact on the business such as a consolidation of all software applications for the customer’s journey, a re-brand of the company, creating and communicating their Core Values, and a replacement of the underlying call center software while ensuring zero disruption to the on-going call center operations. In his spare time, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife, Amber, and his two children Isabella (11) and Jackson (5). He is an avid fan of the Tampa Bay Lighting and the McLaren Formula 1 team, the latter of which inspired him to build a racing simulator in his garage to channel both his inner nerd and didn’t-quite-make-it racing driver.

Candice Saltzman

Candice is a high-energy, people person currently living in the sunny state of Arizona. Candice began her career in staffing and Human Resources over 17 years ago in Minneapolis Minnesota for an in-home health company. She has since spent her time progressing within her career as a Human Resources Generalist eventually leading her to focus primarily on talent acquisition and strategy.

Some of the focus areas for Candice within talent acquisition have been company growth, recruitment strategy, candidate and employee experience, and company branding as it applies to talent acquisition. She has also been heavily involved in retention projects to ensure companies are both obtaining and retaining top talent. Candice truly enjoys people and implementing best practices.

When Candice isn’t spending her time working to find top talent, she is with her 3 children, Lola, Tucker, and Bennett. She and her family enjoy spending time exploring, attending sporting and school events or traveling back to Minnesota to visit family. In her free time, she also enjoys reading, gardening, and cooking. Candice is a very family-focused individual who finds the importance of having both a happy work and home life.

Nichole Hanscom

With more than 30 years of professional experience in the legal field, Nichole has worn just about every hat there is to wear – Assistant, Attorney, Community Liaison, Operations Director, Administrative Counsel, and Owner. She has held high-level positions in organizations of more than 300 people and with multi-million dollar budgets. In addition to running large operations, she has launched non-profit and for-profit businesses from the ground up. Nichole has spent the last two decades focused on helping businesses (especially law firms) run more productively and deliver better results. Prior to joining the HTM team as an Advisor, Nichole was a member! She owned an operations consulting business and was affiliated with a boutique law firm that helped creative entrepreneurs. Before opening her own businesses, Nichole was the Operations Director and Administrative Counsel for the Public Defender’s Office in Tampa, Florida, and consulted for other Public Defenders across Florida from the Panhandle to the Keys. In these roles, Nichole was responsible for designing solutions, leading teams, and building systems that handled legal representation on both the large and small scales. She was also sought after to lead strategic planning, growth management, conflict resolution, and leadership development programs in legal and non-legal organizations across Florida. A life-long advocate for equal access and opportunity, Nichole joined to How to Manage so that she could help lawyers help more people.

Beth Freeman

Beth Freeman has held a variety of positions including Law Firm Administrator, Owner of a Professional Coaching Business, and Real Estate Investor. Beth was previously with a non-profit organization with 12,000 members as a Sr. Director and Executive Team Member. She was responsible for the development of two departments, seven Directors, and multiple teams consisting of 135 leaders, coaches, and support staff in the creation and implementation of programs across seven Chicagoland locations. This included overseeing the delivery of multi-location weekly events for thousands of members, leading monthly workshops, and delivering keynote messages for annual conferences. Beth is most proud of her volunteer work in her community over the last few decades, mentoring women of all ages and stages of life. Beth has been leading people and developing businesses for 28 years.  In her spare time, Beth enjoys long walks with her husband, game nights with her kids, reading to her two grandkids, riding horses, and journaling.
