Eric Herbert

Eric has held a variety of positions including, general manager, group leader, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and was previously with Buffalo Technology Group/Panurgy as President and CEO where he was responsible for the goals and culture of a very fast-growing organization. Eric is most proud of building and then rebuilding a team which took a small, regional technology services company yielding under $1mm of revenue, and turning it into several companies generating over $20 million of revenue in under 10 years, while also growing an early-stage investment arm which has helped fund several not- for-profits and technology organizations. In his spare time, Eric enjoys sailing, skiing, tennis, high performance driving, reading, travel, horrible TV, investing and cooking for and with his wife Alia, and occasionally their way too many children.

Evelyn Aucoin

Evelyn Aucoin has held a variety of positions, including Director of Energy Operations, Director of Financial Settlements and was previously a Limited Partner in a boutique management consulting firm where she was responsible for business development, go-to-market strategies, and creation and training of proprietary methodologies in turnaround and financial transformation services. Evelyn is most proud of her corporate turnaround work, which saved tens of thousands of jobs in two companies. She was personally thanked on the analyst call as one of those companies was relisted on the NYSE after her team’s outstanding work. She has over thirty years of accounting, finance and management experience, across five industries, earned her BBA in Accounting at Texas A & M, and is a CPA.In her spare time, Evelyn enjoys hiking the Sangre de Cristo mountains where she lives, honing her graphic design and creative writing skills, practicing yoga and Pilates, hanging out with her four rescue-adopted dogs, and retraining her off-the-track thoroughbred, Richard, for trail riding. She has over 700 hours of certifications in yoga and Pilates disciplines and has taught over 800 classes. She has been married for over 30 years to her husband Chris, and they have two adult sons.

James Brown

James has held a variety of positions including President/CEO of an $8M bankruptcy law firm for more than 20 years where he was responsible for the overall operations of the firm. Legal responsibilities included leading/directing the legal staff of  5 attorneys and 21 support staff in assigning and managing a caseload of 100 personal injury cases in state court, as many as 12,000 active bankruptcy cases at any given time and 450 FDCPA/TCPA/FCRA cases in the federal courts, as well as training new attorneys to the firm, legal research, high volume motion practice in federal courts, preparing, reviewing and filing necessary pleadings through CM/ECF, conducting depositions, maintaining compliance with court rules and procedures and preparing cases for trial. He was also responsible for the overall planning, projecting and developing of firm strategy to manage the firm’s critical variables in order to achieve superior results. James worked closely with members of staff to build strong family and team relationships to better serve the firm’s clients. He conducted staff and training meetings, creating both short-term and long-term goals for the firm and making all decisions regarding staffing, space requirements, purchasing of technology and other items necessary for the smooth operation of the firm. He is most proud of having created a lifestyle most people only dream about. In his spare time, he enjoys being with his family.

Jason Plumer

Jason has held a variety of positions including Business Operations Manager/Officer, Legal Administrator, Corporate Trainer, HR Generalist, Marketing Generalist, and Tax Preparer. A professional in the legal field for 16 years, Jason was previously with McNamee Lochner P.C. where he was responsible for directing execution of human resources, accounting/financial reporting, IT, marketing, and other operational activities for a firm with over 20 practice areas, 17 shareholders (225 total attorneys), and 35 legal and administrative staff. Jason is most proud of being named a Business Strategy Prize Winner, and for his design and execution of a financial plan which resulted in the payout of $1.8M in post-profit incentive-based bonuses for shareholders. Jason earned an MBA in Human Resource Information Systems from the University at Albany, and also completed one year of his PhD there as well, acquiring skills related to organizational design, logic/methodology and high-level quantitative and qualitative analysis. In his spare time, Jason enjoys physical fitness, grilling outdoors, sporting events, camping and kayaking, coaching or playing baseball, basketball and tennis, and relaxing around water. His two boys, Easton and Landon are his world. An interesting fun fact, prior to his legal career, Jason notched some acting roles in academic and professional print and television commercials, was a model for his own men’s health-related articles with a local magazine, and had a 1 year run being featured online for a company which specializes in manufacturing high-end, unique quality fashion products made out of recycled cashmere clothing.

Jessica Douglas

Jessica Douglas has held a variety of positions including a CEO, COO, SLFU Lead Practice Advisor and trainer in How to Manage University (HTMU), as well as, a Strategic Planning Workshop and SLFU Crash Course Facilitator. She was previously with Fidelity National Financial as Managing In-House Counsel and as Oversight and Compliance Attorney Manager for Nationstar Mortgage where she was responsible for litigation processes, closing file rates and quality control for the fee attorneys these financial institutions hired to conduct their litigation. She has a B.A. in Criminal Justice and a J.D from the University of Georgia School of Law. She is also a certified mediator and currently serves on her local Bar’s ethics commission. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her amazing kiddo and husband playing tennis and wake surfing. She loves watching the Georgia Bulldawgs play football and win national championships!

Tracie Behr

Tracie has held a variety of positions including attorney, business owner, banker, CEO/COO/CFO, and was previously an internal COO for law firms where she was responsible for overseeing all parts of the Firm and over 100 employees. Tracie is most proud of her ability to find solutions to problems that have been lurking under the surface and preventing those problems from wreaking havoc. Some of those have been multimillion dollar recoveries. Tracie holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Master’s in Public Administration, and a Juris Doctor. She has more than two decades growing businesses and managing teams. In her spare time, Tracie enjoys traveling near and far with her family.
