As the first born of seven children, Megan has spent most of her life helping people keep their ducks in a row. Growing up, her parents served as a tribal foster home, making flexibility and compassion necessary survival skills in the Malone house. Her journey of loving others and fighting injustice is hugely due to that large and tightly knit family.

At 13, she became the assistant to the children’s pastor at her parents’ church and has not strayed far from administration since. Through high school and college, she gained experience as a nanny, event assistant, barista, tutor, warehouse manager, and more. Once she completed her Bachelor of Arts in History, Megan started as the receptionist for a small estate planning law firm. In less than a year, she grew from that position to become the firm administrator. While managing all non-legal aspects of the firm, she involved herself in her community by helping organize local TEDx events and serving on her chamber of commerce’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee. During this time, she became a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional to better manage the growth of the firm and its employees. In July 2020, she contracted to help found a nonprofit tasked with distributing CARES Act funds to community members who were negatively impacted by COVID-19. And from there she joined HTM where she is excited to learn and grow alongside their incredible team!
