OK for those keeping score, Fri will be new assistant's first 2 wk paycheck & I'm happy to say she's ALMOST paid for herself already!
By next week should be break-even and the one after that a positive ROI.
Mind you, these calculations do not take into account the value of the time & energy we invested in formulating a proper job description, documenting job processes, policies etc. all of which have been instrumental in bringing on a new employee who breaks even so quickly. But those preparations are an asset we will re-use again in the future and prevent us from ever being held hostage by the Fred Flinstone Factor In Hiring & Firing An Employee
